The first RE/MAX office in Port Elizabeth was founded in 2001. The office performed so well that several other offices were opened to accommodate the influx of estate agents who wanted to be affiliated to this international and reputable brand. Today, there are six RE/MAX offices in Port Elizabeth and one in Grahamstown. The RE/MAX Bay office group (see the section on Geographical Information below) is owned by David Rodgerson, who took over the franchise offices in 2004. Rodgerson has a people-centered approach, heading Eskom's human resource department for many years before investing in the RE/MAX franchise where his people-driven methodology still holds true. GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION RE/MAX Bay is a multi-office RE/MAX franchise with offices in Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown respectively. Between the three offices, we have over 30 sales associates who provide real estate and brokerage services in the southern regions of the Eastern Cape. Some of the cities and towns that we cover are Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Despatch, Addo, Sunday's River & Colchester, Blue Horizon Bay, Blue Water Bay, Grahamstown, Port Alfred, Boesmansriviermond, and Kenton-on-Sea.
